"Fibracell reeds never let me down under any weather conditions and do not need pre-soaking. This makes them great for doubling. I love the sound I get on a Fibracell reed, it’s better than most of the cane reeds I try. I’m very demanding on my reeds and Fibracell meets that demand. Steve is presently Director of Jazz Studies, Mt. San Antonio College, Walnut, CA. In addition, he is in constant demand as a clinician/Adjudicator around the country.

Formerly, Steve played lead alto for Stan Kenton, and has been featured with Tony Bennet, Mel Torme, Nancy Wilson, Temptations, Keely Smith, Sarah Vaughan, Peter Nero, Rita Moreno and Frank Sinatra Jr. to name a few.
