Hello,

I am Shawn "Thunder" Wallace. I was a die hard wood reed person before I discover Fibracell reeds. I have been so impressed with these reeds. Before I started using Fibracell reeds I was going through box after box of reeds only to find 1 or 2 out of a box of 12 or 15 reeds that was usable. And, that reed would only last me a gig or at the most 2 gigs. I play 5 days a week and that doesn't count rehearsals or practicing. I switched to Fibracell reeds and every single reed plays and I am getting 3 to 4 months of playing on these reeds. Also, I do a lot of doubling. I play all of the saxophones, all of the flutes and clarinet. So, when I switch I don't have time to make sure that each reed is ok. With these Fibracell reeds I don't have to do anything but put them on and play. And, if I want to do some work on them I treat them like a wood reed. Even though this is such a great product and I think that everyone should switch that is not the main reason that I have chosen to endorse this product. The main reason is the sense of honesty that I got from talking to Joyce when we were discussing the details of out arrangement. So, either way you go this product is not only a great one but it has great people behind it.
